Hi, I’m Sabrina! I’m an RMT who loves treating frozen shoulder and rotator cuff issues, sciatica, postural imbalances, and everything from everyday aches to sports injuries. I’m also a newly minted running enthusiast, a French speaker, and a lifelong health-and-wellness nerd.

Growing up in Abbotsford, I cultivated an active lifestyle that sparked my passion for the human body and helping others feel their best. I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in August 2023, developing a strong foundation in anatomy, therapeutic techniques, and the mind–body connection.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find me spending quality time with family and friends or prioritizing my own well-being outdoors—walking, hiking, camping, or snowboarding.

In my treatments, I combine therapeutic techniques with an intuitive approach to help reduce pain, ease stress and anxiety, and support overall well-being. My toolkit includes general Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, passive range of motion, and pin-and-stretch techniques.

Above all, my goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming space. I want every client to feel heard, supported, and confident that their unique needs are at the centre of each session. With a holistic approach to wellness, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact on the health and happiness of the people I work with.

I love flexing my creative problem-solving muscles as an Occupational Therapist. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centred. I’m also a bit of a neuroplasticity nerd, with experience in prolonged exposure therapy, concussion care, adult ADHD, and mental health management. As a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, I am committed to providing trans-informed, inclusive care that affirms each client’s identity and lived experience. When I’m not out in the community delivering care, you can find me reading a good book, heavy-bag boxing, or chopping wood in the forest.

I entered private practice in 2011 as a Service Coordinator, helping connect people with acquired brain injuries and physical disabilities to OT services. It didn’t take long for me to see how powerful OT could be in creating real, tangible change in people’s lives, and I transitioned to the clinician side in 2020—ask me why I think OT is the most creative job I’ve ever had!

Today, I bring that same curiosity and drive for impact into my leadership role. As the OT Team Lead at Tall Tree, I balance my clinical caseload with supporting our team of OTs across four clinics—through hiring, training, coaching, and connecting therapists with the tools and resources they need to do their best work.

I believe great care starts with listening and understanding. No two people move, recover, or experience pain in the same way, which is why I strongly believe in individualized and patient-centered treatment plans. I work with you to build a plan that is not only evidence-based and effective, but also realistic, sustainable, and hopefully even enjoyable - something that truly fits your life.

I see rehabilitation as a partnership. Together, we’ll identify what’s most important to you - whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life - and build a treatment plan designed specifically to help you return to it. Education is a key part of my approach, so you leave with a clear understanding of your body and the confidence to self-manage and prevent future setbacks. Sustainable behaviour change and building a balanced, healthy, and active lifestyle are central to how I approach treatment.

Outside of the clinic, you’ll usually find me exercising, tending to my garden and plants, playing music, or camping and spending time outdoors.

Growing up as a competitive gymnast sparked an early interest in movement, performance, and injury recovery. After gymnastics, I found my way into the climbing and running communities and quickly fell in love with the challenge and connection these sports offer.

Like many athletes, my path has included injuries along the way, including a significant shoulder injury that required surgery and a long rehabilitation process. Experiencing that recovery firsthand shaped how I approach physiotherapy today and deepened my appreciation for how injuries can affect both performance and overall well-being.

Over time, I developed a particular interest in hypermobility and connective tissue conditions such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Through both clinical work and personal experience, I’ve come to appreciate the complex relationship between joint structure, injury risk, nervous system sensitivity, training load, and recovery. I enjoy helping patients better understand their bodies while building strength and developing sustainable ways to stay active.

Outside the clinic, you’ll usually find me climbing, running, or exploring coffee shops around the city.

Jayde believes meaningful recovery begins with understanding the whole person - the injury in context of the broader ecosystem. Much like a plant thrives when the soil, light, and environment are right, she works collaboratively with each individual to address the interconnected systems, habits, and goals that influence how they move and feel.

Originally drawn to physiotherapy as a competitive soccer player navigating a complex knee injury — and being given a long list of “you’ll never be able to’s” — Jayde’s approach has evolved from a “fixing” mindset toward one centered on guidance, collaboration, and curiosity. Through her own recovery, she returned to several activities she had once been told might not be possible, shaping her belief that individuals are the true experts on their own bodies. She blends evidence-informed care with clinical experience, working collaboratively with each person throughout their rehabilitation journey while encouraging curiosity and greater awareness of the body’s signals. Together, the process becomes an opportunity to build practical tools and strategies while fostering confidence, ease, and trust in the ability to continue doing the activities that matter most.

Outside the clinic, Jayde enjoys crafting, challenging herself physically through strength training in her garage gym and running — often to a well-curated Taylor Swift playlist — and reminding herself to create space for both effort and ease, whether through philosophical conversations and reading with her husband or time spent with loved ones over good food and games. Her Belgian Malinois — loyal companion and enthusiastic training partner — ensures life is never too quiet.
